Ear Training

Specialized classes created, developed and taught by Paul Lindsay (USN Retired) for use with the Armed Forces Band members at the Navy School of Music: playing in tune, the effects of dynamic balance on intonation, and hearing the voicing of your instrument.

Music History

The development of 18th and 19th century music against the background of the social events of the period.

Music Theory

Understanding theory essentials, including the Circle of 5ths, intervals, inversions, triads, musical vocabulary, tempo designations and relative and parallel minor scales.
